Las Ramblas and La Boqueria are overpopulated and deployed of content and are just full of tourist shops with cheap Chinese souvenirs and over priced low quality frozen paellas… avoid at all cost

Visiting Barcelona in the first week of October for probably 2 days. Of course, I would love to check out the the gothic church, the beautiful garden and some of the known spots. I love Barcelona. When I visited in 2011, they didn’t used to charge for anything at Parc Guell. But when I went there in 2015, there was a ticket to sit on the curved benches and to see the lizard.

Went to Barcelona this Aug 2018. The sidewalks especially going to beach front are littered with fake products, being sold like in a flea market, it has reduced the walking space for people and it has been an eye sore for tourists. I wonder why the Barcelona authorities are tolerating this piracy.
