We had fun exploring Las Vegas, and we have tips for families looking to see the strip!
-Go early in the day, around 9-10am
-Leave by mid to late afternoon before the crowds get thick and the adult behavior kicks in
-If you attend the Bellagio Fountain show at night, we found that if you watch from the hotel side of the “lake” rather than the street side, you are shielded from the inappropriate activities of the strip, and can then easily catch a cab back to your hotel/campground
-Be warned that if you walk around the strip in the late afternoon/evening, you will see cards on the ground of naked women, and there is a higher chance of seeing women on the sidewalks wearing not much more than pasties and feathers (again, go early in the day!)
-Vegas can be fun for families, you just have to be aware of how the city works and plan accordingly
