TEXT Bridges, Cathedrals, Churches and Towers – Prague is a city that’s insanely pleasing to the eye. If you have only 48 hours in this town, let me show you what you can do!

Amongst the most famous attractions is the Charles Bridge. Back in the days, the most important connection between Prague Castle and the Old Town. It’s protected by bridge towers and decorated with an alley of 30 statues and a whole lot of merchandising and tourists. Yeah, it’s a busy bridge! If you want it more for yourself, you best arrive extremely early in the morning.
Going west on the bridge, you’ll end up in Prague Castle. The largest ancient castle in the world. The first walled building was created in 870. Now there are Churches, Palaces, Towers, Gardens and Halls. Yes, multiple of everything! It’s quite impressive. You could easily spend your whole here, and still you won’t see everything there is.

Between the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle is this colourful creation.

And even today this wall is still alive, with lots of people writing their messages of love and peace on it. You could visit year after year, and get a different colors all the time.

If you want to see more local places and check out the artistic, underground scene, you should sign up for an Alternative Prague Walking Tour. One of the highlights of our stay definitely. Go beyond the beaten paths, and find some spots you probably wouldn’t have stumbled upon yourself.
I liked this tour so much I’ll make a separate video about it. Check it out in the upper right corner!

And then there is food! If you’re a foodie, you’ll be very happy in Prague! Let me show you some of my favorite places. And to make it easy I also put a little map down in the descriptionbox.

Of course we couldn’t leave Prague without seeing the Astronomical clock on the old town square. Ending the day with a beer in Letna Park.

A good view to end our stay in Prague!
Next week we continue east. To Brno, Oloumouc and Ostrava.

Got a job offer here in Prague, after watching this video I should have accepted it. It seems like a less crowded country and safe place. Plus the woman here are typical Russian beauty!

Cris Yorke says:

Unfortunately, Europe (particularly Western) is a communist cesspool. The Czechs and Poles and Hungarians know that and they are having none of the EUSSR nonsense.

Travel Gretl says:

I went to Prague twice this summer. First because I was invited by Czech Tourism. And because I liked it so much, with Sander again on our roadtrip to Romania. In this video I’ll show you the highlights of both trips! Though honestly, when I was with Sander I felt like having holiday really, since I didn’t have that for a long time (always filming 😉 So the majority is from the presstrip 🙂

ANYWAY, hope you’ll enjoy 😀

Interesting selection of restos; part of the group tour I imagine. Prague is such a fantastic, beautiful city. Yes, the Charles Bridge in the morning is ideal. I managed to get some great pics very early on a few days but it was winter and a bit chilly. More nice views walking the banks of the Vltava River and I found the Jewish Quarter quite interesting. Yup, love Prague. Excellent video as usual.

Handy tips for a Prague weekend. Always love to see the colored houses in the eastern part of Europe and also well decorated. Doing 48 hours are fun but busy, so nice you had a second change with Sander. All the best!
